Preview My Performance of Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement

It is so thrilling to be performing a live in-person concert again!

It is so thrilling to be performing a live in-person concert again! On Sunday, June 20th, I’m on stage with the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic performing Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement conducted by James Ross.

You can attend LIVEwatch digitally, or view On Demand.

While I’ve had various concert recordings released over the past several months as well as an in-person chamber concert, this will be my first time back on stage with a live orchestra since the pandemic hit. You can just imagine the excitement for me and everyone involved.

Florence Price has gained huge traction in recent years as being the first Black female composer to write symphonic works and have her compositions performed by major orchestras. Hear more of her concerto’s backstory!
