Classical Post x Moi: Missy Mazzoli

My interview series continues on Classical Post and this month I spoke with Missy Mazzoli—a very special composer who’s become quite established in the new music space, and opera in particular. We discussed her opera Proving Up, which is a fascinating exploration into an American family that did everything right, but still failed. We also spoke of her founding Luna Composition Lab for female-identifying, non-binary and gender nonconforming compositional voices.
